To confess Jesus as Lord implies that an individual’s being and lifestyle is compatible with the Righteousness of Jesus Christ and His Lordship. The dilemma is that since all men have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, (Ro 3:23), no individual can away from their own agreement truly confess Jesus as Lord at any time.
